Townhome or Detached? Choosing the Right Home Type
The townhome-versus-detached decision usually comes down to how much you value separation from neighbours relative to price and upkeep. At Green Valley Estates the choice spans four series: Napa Traditional Towns, Bordeaux Dual-Front Towns, Barossa 38' Detached and Rideau 42' Detached.
Napa Traditional Two-Storey Townhomes. The Napa series spans roughly 1,660 to 2,241 sq ft with three to four bedrooms. These are conventional freehold towns with a private backyard — the lowest-cost route into freehold ownership at Green Valley Estates, and the format that leaves the largest share of household income available for savings or a shorter amortisation.
Bordeaux Dual-Front Townhomes. New for Phase 4, the Bordeaux series runs 1,764 to 1,874 sq ft with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms across three designs. A dual-front town presents finished elevations on two sides rather than a front and a rear yard, which means more windows, more daylight and a stronger street presence than a comparable interior town.
Barossa 38' Detached. The Barossa series covers roughly 2,226 to 3,536 sq ft with four to five bedrooms on 38-foot frontages. This is the entry point to fully detached ownership: no shared walls, side-yard access on both sides, and floor plans large enough for a home office and a growing family without moving to the widest lots.
